The chalkboard fabric is available normally as fat quarters, 8" x 10" or ½m (equivalent to 2 fat quarters) and is coloured black. We can however deliver in other sizes if required. Please contact us to discuss your requirements. Store enquires most welcome.

The use and care of your chalkboard fabric

Once you have received your chalkboard fabric it is very important to cure it before using within your pattern. This is best done by laying a piece of chalk (the colour does not matter!) on it's side on the surface of the chalkboard fabric (or cloth) and rubbing it all over, side to side and top to bottom. Clean the chalk off the fabric. Be careful with what you use. A soft cloth is best. Be wary of material that may scratch or mark your new fabric. Then repeat the process again. Your fabric is now ready for use.
